大師簡介
中提琴｜蔡士賢
1990年出生於宜蘭。蔡士賢2014年畢業於臺南藝術大學一貫制音樂學系，師事張乃月教授。隨後赴歐深造，先後取得荷蘭阿姆斯特丹音樂院中提琴碩士學位（2016，師事中提琴教母今井信子教授）與室內樂絃樂四重奏碩士學位（2018，師事丹奈爾四重奏）；隨後於荷蘭弦樂四重奏學院完成後碩士班（2019，續師事丹奈爾四重奏），並於德國漢諾威音樂、戲劇暨媒體大學進修（2019–2020），師事Oliver Wille教授。
求學期間獲多項獎項肯定，包括2013年辛德密特中提琴作品比賽大學A組第一名、2015年第四屆荷蘭國家中提琴比賽第二獎（同年獲邀代表學校赴柏林參與室內樂演出），以及2020年孟德爾頌大學院校弦樂四重奏第二獎。曾任荷蘭青年樂團中提琴首席，並隨團參加夏季、冬季巡迴演出。
獨奏之外亦積極參與室內樂演出，曾參與法國潶島音樂節、上海Viva la Viola我為中提狂音樂節、日本Viola Space中提琴空間音樂節、秋天藝術節、誠品室內樂音樂節、台灣國際藝術節等，演出深獲好評。2017年起獲國際知名小提琴家暨Taiwan Connection創辦人胡乃元先生賞識，受邀參與音樂講座莫札特G小調弦樂五重奏示範演出，隔年參加第一屆TC國際室內樂系列演出，並定期參與室內樂及樂團演出。目前為荷蘭海牙Ciconia弦樂團中提琴首席及Skazka弦樂四重奏中提琴手。
Viola｜Shih-Hsien Tsai
Born in Yilan, Taiwan, in 1990, Shih-Hsien Tsai graduated from the Department of Music at Tainan National University of the Arts in 2014. He earned his Master's in Viola with Prof. Nobuko Imai (2016) and a Master's in String Quartet Performance with Quatuor Danel (2018), both from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He completed further postgraduate studies at the Nederlandse Strijkkwartet Academie (2019) and the HMTM Hannover with Prof. Oliver Wille (2019–2020).
Tsai has received numerous competitive accolades, including First Prize at the Hindemith Viola Competition (University Division A, 2013), Second Prize at the 4th Dutch National Viola Competition (2015, with an invitation to represent his conservatory in a Berlin chamber music performance), and Second Prize in the String Quartet category at the 2020 Mendelssohn University Competition. He previously served as Principal Viola of the Dutch Youth Orchestra, touring extensively with the ensemble.
Acclaimed for his performances, Tsai has appeared at international festivals including the Île de Ré (France), Viva la Viola (Shanghai), Viola Space (Japan), Zeeland Klassiek, Autumn Arts, Eslite Chamber Music, and the Taiwan International Festival of Arts. Since 2017, he has regularly collaborated with violinist and Taiwan Connection founder Nai-Yuan Hu, joining the inaugural TC International Chamber Music Series in 2018. He is currently Principal Viola of the Ciconia the Hague string orchestra and violist of the Skazka Kwartet.
